With ‘Dracula’s Lovers,’ I have taken on a classic of world literature, but with a queer and polyamorous twist. It is a complete story with five chapters, told through diary entries, as in Bram Stoker’s original novel. Approximately 13,200 words, which corresponds to about 45 pages of the book. A christmas present from me to everyone who is interested:
„Beau and the Beast“ is a queer fanfiction about the live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast (from 2017).
An arrogant, selfish French prince gets transformed into a hideous beast by an enchantress, and his whole castle is cursed, including all his servants who become pieces of furniture, cutlery or other objects. His personal servant Beau has become a mirror. Beau has always felt attracted to the prince but also repulsed by his arrogance and selfishness. But then everything changes …
This is a complete fan fiction in short story length (approx. 24 book pages). It contains traces of a queer utopia and anti-monarchist ideas.
